The tips listed below are to help guide you in preparing your car for shipment.

General Guidelines

  • The maximum height on any vehicle cannot exceed 6 feet and 5 inches. Please advise if otherwise.

  • The driver must be informed before pick-up if the vehicle any modifications. For example: Custom wheel size, off-set wheels, lifted / lowered, 4x4, long-bed, short-bed, luggage racks, etc.

  • In order for the driver to safely load/unload your vehicle, it must be no less than 4 inches off the ground.

  • The driver must be provided with a working phone number of the contracted customer, as well as a name and phone number if there's an appointed individual, other than the contracted customer, at the time of pick-up/delivery.

Preparing Your Vehicle

  • All alarms / anti-theft systems must be disconnected, turned off or disabled.

  • Gas tank should be at least 1/3 full, however, no more than 1/2 a tank full.

  • Detachable bike racks, ski racks or luggage racks must be removed from the vehicle.

  • Battery must be secured in the mounting bracket.

  • The vehicle must NOT contain firearms, plants, hazardous materials, contraband, or illegal substances.

  • Vehicle should be clean upon inspection. If the vehicle is dirty, the driver cannot perform an accurate inspection.

  • Sunpass, removable CD / DVD players, and garage door openers must be removed. (We are not liable for any charges on Sunpass devices left in the vehicle).

  • Vehicle cannot have any obvious fluid leaks.

  • Antennas must be completely removed or fully retracted. (Antennas that are removed, may be placed inside the vehicle).

Vehicle Inspection Guidelines

  • Contracted customer or an appointed individual needs to sign the bill of lading / inspection report for both pick-up and delivery.

  • Contracted customer or an appointed individual needs to be present at the time of inspection during pick-up / delivery.

  • Before the driver departs from the pick-up / delivery location, contracted customer or an appointed individual must confirm the vehicle inspection report coincides with the vehicles condition.

  • All damages that the vehicle has at time of pick-up will be described on the bill of lading. If there is additional damage at the time of delivery, it will be added to the bill of lading. It is the responsibility of the contracted customer or your appointed individual to make sure any other damages are noted at the time of delivery. (Absolutely no claims for damage will be allowed, unless noted immediately upon delivery. All claims by shipper and/or owner are subject to $200.00 deductible. Any claims that are pursued by court must be filed in Miami-Dade County).
