J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Articles left in vehicles (we are not licensed for this service).

No delivery time is guaranteed. ALL DELIVERY TIMES ARE ONLY ESTIMATED OF NORMAL DELIVERIES (DELAYS MAY OCCUR). All pick-up and delivery decisions are made by this carrier driver based on Local,State and Federal Laws governing length, weight, and height of carrier. Shipper or its agents will make arrangements with carriers or its agent to meet the truck to load or unload at a safe and legal place. Weight restrictions, low tree branches, small roads, low bridges, and numerous other obstacles can make it impossible, illegal and impractical to pick-up or deliver at your door.

No auto rental will be honored (For delays, damage, or accidents).

Damage caused by leaking fluids, battery acids, cooling systems, anti-freezing solution, industrial fallout, or any material from driver entering and exiting vehicles, fallout resulting from acts of God, or acts of violence.

Damage unable to detect due to auto’s dirty condition.

Damage caused by freezing of cooling system and/or batteries. Protection from freezing will be furnished by and at the expense of the shipper.

Auto in generally poor condition, damage too numerous to list, unable to inspect due to poor weather conditions, GOES AS IS.

We will not insure or be liable for any damage to antennas or power antenna systems for any reason. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Damages to vehicle caused by:
A. Vehicles that cannot be driven on or off transporter under its own power are not insured for any reason. NO EXCEPTIONS. ADDITIONAL charge of $200.00 for a non-running vehicle.
B. Vehicles with insufficient brakes, parking brakes or parking gear are not insured for any reason. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We are not responsible for faulty craftsmanship due to manufacturing defects such as body, flexing, flexing heat combustion or damage that results to vehicle from tie downs breaking or tearing.

SHIPPER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARING VEHICLE FOR SHIPMENT. All loose parts, fragile or accessories, low hanging spoilers, antennas, etc. must be removed and/or properly secured. Any part of the vehicle that falls off in transit is the Shipper’s responsibility, including damages caused by said parts to any and ALL VEHICLES INVOLVED, INCLUDING FOREIGN FLUIDS.

Shipper agrees that his insurance company has primary responsibility under his comprehensive coverage.

J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. will not insure or not be liable for any mechanical function, damages include: engine, transmission, rear end, motor mount drive trains, wiring systems, window motors, radio, stereo, power steering, air bags, brake cable or brake systems, engine tuning, vehicle computerized systems, alignment of suspension, etc. (anything that is mechanical).

J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. will not insure any exhaust systems, mufflers, tailpipes, side pipes, sunning boards or spoiler damage at all. NO EXCEPTIONS.

J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. will not be liable for any damage caused by exposure to weather, environmental hazards, road vibrations, road hazards, including damage caused by flying stone/rock chips, dings in windows or glass minor dents and scratches that can be buffed out or touched up by paint at shipper’s expense, or rubbed or scruffs on tires, wheels, and wire covers for any reason. NO EXCEPTIONS.

J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. will not insure or not be liable for any convertible tops that are loose, torn, or have extensive wear, or for vehicle boots, caps, mask, bras, or any canvas or material covering. NO EXCEPTIONS.

J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. will call Shipper prior to delivery. Shipper must have Cashier’s Check or Cash in full upon J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC.’s arrival or Shipper will be subject to tariff increase.

J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. will inform Shipper of delivery time at least (15) hours in advance. Shipper has three (3) free phone inquiries per invoice. Any inquiries over three (3) will be assessed at $5.00 per inquiry.

J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. will not be responsible for over loaded vehicle and/or damaged caused by this condition.

Shipper insures vehicle if it is driven/flatbed/ and /or towed to and from pick-up and delivery.

Customer is responsible to disarm alarm system in vehicle and provide keys. If alarm sounds, transporter is required to silence alarm by any means deemed reasonable and effective.

Payment must be with Cashier’s Check or Cash; if not, Vehicle will be put in storage at customer’s expense. If customer is unable to accept delivery for any reason, all storage and/or delivery charges are to be paid by customer.

J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. will not be responsible for E.Z. Pass/Sun Pass charges on customer vehicle.
Important Notes:
- PICK-UP & DELIVERY DATES ARE ALWAYS ESTIMATED!! (ESTIMATED DELIVERY IS 8-12 BUSINESS DAYS FROM PICK-UP DATE)
- ALL VEHICLES WITH LUGGAGES (NO MORE THAN 50 POUNDS).
- ALSO HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FEE & WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THEFT IN VEHICLES.
- ABSOLUTELY NO CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE WILL BE ALLOWED UNLESS NOTED IMMEDIATELY UPON DELIVERY.
- ALL CLAIMS BY SHIPPER AND/OR OWNER SUBJECT TO $200.00 DEDUCTIBLE.
- ANY CLAIMS THAT ARE PURSUED BY COURT MUST BE FILED IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY. ADDRESS TO: J.O. TRANSPORTATION, INC. P.O. BOX 832106 Miami, FL 33183
- PICKUP & DELIVERY ARE DONE AS CLOSE AS POISSIBLE TO THE ADDRESSES GIVEN.
- It is against FMCSA regulations for carriers to transport personal possessions within a vehicle. PLEASE NO PERSONAL ITEMS.
- Carriers risk fines for transporting any personal possessions. In addition, our insurance typically does not cover the loss or damage of personal possessions included in a vehicle being shipped.
- Our interstate Commerce Commission Permit No. MC 497096 limits service to the transportation of the vehicle only. We MAY NOT accept any PERSONAL EFFECT inside the vehicle or trunk area. This regulation cannot be waived. Any charges or fines resulting from this will be the Shipper’s responsibility.
